We are looking for reliable and diligent HR volunteers to assist various departments with HR processes.

Our organization is a startup and this is a fast-paced role. Effective communication is required and slacking/poor communication will not be allowed.

The HR Coordinators will report to the founders, assist with the hiring process by serving as the primary point of contact for management, onboarding, and applications. The HR Coordinators will write and publish job openings, screen candidates, set up interviews and onboarding in accordance with policies, and maintain current application and employee data in the system. HRs can suggest and create rules and procedures with an emphasis on employee relations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Recruitment & Hiring: Manage job postings, screen candidates, schedule interviews, etc.
  • Intern & Volunteer Management: Oversee the performance of interns and volunteers, tracking progress through weekly meetings, and providing regular feedback. Be the go-to contact for intern queries. Maintaining staff records.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Handle onboarding of new hires & interns by preparing necessary documentation, setting up meetings and ensuring a seamless onboarding process. Handle offboarding when necessary.
  • Email Management: Monitor and manage the company’s HR emails, flag important correspondence, and update the founders on action items.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage team, assigning tasks and providing guidance.

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in an HR role or similar role
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Team spirit
