YOUR IMPACT
The HR Data Analyst will be responsible for leveraging data to support the HR team and company leadership in data-driven decision-making. This role will focus on building, managing and enhancing headcount dashboards and reporting tools that provide insights into workforce metrics such as employee demographics, attrition and hiring trends. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with HR systems (Workday) and advanced data visualization abilities.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Build, maintain and enhance HR dashboards in Workday, Qlik and other reporting tools, ensuring accurate and up-to-date metrics on headcount, attrition, hiring and other workforce metrics.
- Create regular and ad hoc reports, analyzing HR data to support workforce planning, talent management and organizational decision-making.
- Develop clear visualizations and reporting formats that facilitate understanding and action from leadership and other stakeholders.
Headcount and Workforce Analytics:
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual headcount reports, monitoring trends and patterns to support HR and leadership with actionable insights.
- Analyze attrition data, providing insights into turnover rates, reasons for attrition and key areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to track and manage workforce budgeting and forecasting.
Tool Optimization and Automation:
- Work with HRIS teams to optimize Workday configurations, ensuring efficient and accurate data extraction for reporting.
- Automate regular reporting processes, reducing manual workload while improving data accuracy and report availability.
- Assist with implementing new data tools or enhancements to current systems to support HR analytics.
Data Integrity and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits, data cleaning and validation procedures.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to ensure reliable and consistent data across systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Support:
- Partner with HR, finance and business leaders to understand data needs, delivering custom reports and insights that align with business goals.
- Educate HR team members on data interpretation and self-service reporting capabilities within Workday and Qlik.
- Act as a subject matter expert on HR data and metrics, providing consultation and guidance to stakeholders
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business, Information Systems or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR data analysis or a similar role, preferably with experience in headcount or workforce analytics
- Proficiency in Workday, Qlik and other data analytics or BI tools. Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to manipulate large datasets effectively.
- Familiarity with HR metrics and reporting best practices, particularly in headcount reporting and attrition analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
- Collaborative and proactive, with a drive for continuous improvement
