Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in building a strong and capable workforce. This individual will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to extending offers and onboarding new hires. They will collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruitment:
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, networking events, employee referrals).
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Conduct reference and background checks.
- Extend and negotiate job offers.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
Talent Sourcing and Pipeline Development:
- Proactively source passive candidates through networking, online databases, and social media platforms.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate data and track recruitment progress.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with potential candidates.
Hiring Manager Collaboration:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Conduct regular meetings with hiring managers to provide updates on recruitment progress.
Employer Branding and Candidate Experience:
- Promote the company's employer brand to attract top talent.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- With at least 2yrs of experience in talent acquisition in corporate or volume hiring
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and sourcing strategies.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Knowledge of employment law.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to the company.
- Experience with social media recruiting.
- Experience in creating and implementing employer branding strategies.
