We are a recruitment firm serving the home service and trades industry. Our referrals are all word of mouth, we have a client waiting list for onboarding. This is our fifth-year, and we still have every client we started the business with. We do things differently. It's all about relationships and serving with excellence. We build and create solutions for our clients to be assisted with critical functions in their business.

Job role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Estimating Administrator to support our estimating team in preparing accurate project estimates, managing documentation, and maintaining efficient workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills combined with a basic understanding of construction or estimating processes.

An Estimating Administrator in construction is a crucial support role, ensuring that the estimation process is streamlined, accurate, and well-documented. They oversee the tools, templates, and data used for estimating, ensure that estimators follow best practices, and communicate effectively with other departments. They also assist with reporting, quality control, and support for the estimating team, ultimately contributing to the accuracy of bids and the overall success of construction projects.

What you will do:

  • Prior to Bidding

Coordinating the setup of new bids, gathering and downloading all necessary project documents, such as plans and specifications. Organizing and preparing these files for the estimator, ensuring they have all the required information to accurately assess the project and generate a comprehensive estimate.

O Responsible for organizing and structuring the project files in a consistent, standardized manner, ensuring that all files are easily accessible and well-organized.

  • Notice to Proceed

Overseeing the setup for all the projects to our CRM and job management system. Ensuring files are consistently organized across both platforms, making it easy to access all the necessary information and accurately assess the project.

  • Ongoing During Project Completion

Responsible for managing updated documents and change requests, ensuring all files are current and organized. They would prepare and distribute these documents to the field team, making sure they have everything they need. Additionally, they support the PM team by confirming that all project documents are accurate, complete, and properly maintained.

  • MISC

Pull weekly and monthly estimating reports Use Al to pull estimating data from our CRM

Other special projects

New year setup

Inform Supervisor of any problems and escalate until resolution Participate in team meetings to improve business operations Additional duties as assigned
