Marketing and Sales Assistant (Mailchimp)
ROLE SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a Marketing and Sales Assistant to join their growing team. This role will involve prospecting for clients and providing marketing support. They will be responsible for tracking contact attempts and data, copywriting, and drafting newsletters to help promote the company.
WORK SCHEDULE: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time (8:30 PM – 5:30 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prospect potential clients across various product segments and perform the following related tasks:
- Use Microsoft Excel to track contact attempts, responses, response rate per inquiry (track different templates), scheduled contact after sampling, etc.
- Use curated lists and curated copy, organized by customer, product, and/or situation type
- Use resources to create new lists and copy, as well as find new emails
- Use the web to personalize editable section of copy
- Create and send marketing newsletters to current clients, which covers new and seasonal product releases, promos, and more, using Mailchimp or similar service
- Utilize spreadsheets, emails, Google search/company reviews (menu, specifics about client type, product fits), lead generation services, email lookup services, Mailchimp, and AI to write copy
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in the related field
- Comfortable with interfacing and prospecting clients
- Graphic design skills are a plus
- Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented, organized, and has a positive attitude and work ethic
- Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
