WHR Global Consulting, a global talent solution provider is looking for a stellar candidate to fill the role of Purchase Specialist for its client based in Alabang, Muntinlupa City

This is for direct hiring and for a role.

Schedule:

  • Sundays to Thursdays
  • Mid-shift starts at 12pm
  • 48 hours compressed work week

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in order expedition or related experience
  • Experience working in a BPO set-up is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge on contracting and procurement process, logistics, Incoterms, and contractual terms
  • Has effective negotiation abilities and strong sense of urgency.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Collaborates closely with respective accounts to fully understand and fulfill all customer requirements in accordance with the contract terms.

2. Manages the supplier-side purchase order (PO) process that involves ensuring

confirmation of receipt, timely release, expediting, and coordinating deliveries to meet

contractual deliveries with efficiency.

3. Handles all correspondence related to shipments, delivery, and material quality and

quantity, and promptly reports any concerns to relevant parties to ensure orders meet the

required specifications and timely address pressing concerns.

4. Meets the agreed quality assurance (QA) requirements to safeguard quality and standard

of work.

5. Facilitates smooth PO delivery by maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to

maintain strong relationship with the clients.

6. Escalates complex or unresolved issues, queries, or concerns to his/her immediate

superior for swift resolution.

7. Achieves zero accidents to minimize operational costs.

8. Shares knowledge and skills with new members and junior colleagues for business

continuity.

9. Reports security incidents and/or any identified security weaknesses. 12.Performs other

tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
