Provident Fund Specialist
About the Role
The Provident Fund Accounting Specialist is responsible in the preparation of department's financial reports and other summaries and provide analysis and evaluation to immediate supervisor as support in decision making.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares the Financial Statements of the Provident Fund.
- Analyzes and posts journal entries in the General Ledger System.
- Reconciles the monthly bank statement of Provident Fund books before closing.
- Analyzes and reviews reconciled General Ledger Accounts.
- Journalize adjusting entries in the PF books.
- Prepares annual department budget and monitors the monthly variance report.
- Prepares compliance reports for submission to auditors during the audit engagement.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferably in business-related course
Work Experience:
2 years of relevant experience
Training:
At least 8 hours of relevant training
Eligibility:
RA 1080 (CPA)
