- Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm NSW with 1 hour unpaid break
- Report to and work closely with the finance manager
- Manage financial records for the entire organization
- Handle confidential financial and employee information
- Potential to expand role to include more HR-related tasks
- Enter invoices for payment into Xero accounting system
- Follow up with staff regarding credit card receipts and ensure proper entry
- Manage and update insurance and licensing documentation
- Follow up on unpaid invoices, primarily via email
- Reconcile accounts within the Xero system
- Prepare financial information for review by the finance manager
- Assist with payroll processing
- Support HR functions by managing onboarding processes in the system
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Mid-level to senior experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with payroll processing
- Knowledge of Australian tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with HR processes is a plus
