The Legal Assistant ensures the company adheres to regulatory requirements, including SEC, local government, tax, and employee benefits compliance. This role involves managing legal filings, corporate records, permits, and risk assessments while ensuring timely renewals, tax obligations, and regulatory updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Legal Management or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience related in Legal.
- Strong understanding of SEC regulations, state securities laws, and local government compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify potential risks and compliance issues.
- Proven ability to communicate complex regulatory information clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
- Experience working cross-functionally with legal, finance, and operational teams.
- MUST be amenable to work onsite 6 days a week Monday-Saturday (10:00AM-7:00PM).

Key Responsibilities:
- SEC Compliance: Handle filings, maintain corporate records, and ensure corporate governance adherence.
- Local Government Compliance: Manage business permits, licenses, and zoning regulations while liaising with LGUs.
- Government Benefits Compliance: Oversee SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions, ensuring labor law compliance.
- Risk Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks, conduct assessments, and comply with inspections.
- BIR Compliance: Coordinate with the tax team and process company detail amendments.
- Documentation Management: Organize corporate records, implement document policies, and track liquidation reports.
- Other Tasks: Ensure Companies' compliance, manage documents, and handle company closures.
