As a Mid Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining logistics software solutions. This position requires advanced technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will work on developing new features, improving existing functionality, and ensuring a high-quality code that meets industry standards.
Your Role & Responsibility
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions, offering input on best practices and solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices for software development.
• Work closely with consultants, project managers, and other developers to deliver solutions that align with client needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring that the software performs reliably and meets quality standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and propose innovative ideas for improving software performance and user experience.
Your Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree is an additional asset
• At least 3-4 years of experience in software development, preferably in logistics or SaaS environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, SQL
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and testing tools.
• Comfortable working in Agile environments and familiar with tools like JIRA for sprint planning and task tracking.
• Advanced communication skills, Openness to feedback, problem solving, analysis, planning, and follow-up.
• Advance knowledge in SQL / PLSQL
• Knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Nice to have:
• Relevant certifications in software development, cloud technologies, or data security.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure).
• Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing.
• Dutch language skills
• Logistics- IT or Retail- IT working knowledge
• Knowledge and experience Confluence, Jira, Pivotal Tracker, etc.
• Knowledge in Node JS
• Knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan and execute application testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development
