THE ROLE:
- Land Acquisition
- Handle titling, conversion, and reclassification of land
- Draft, review, and negotiate land contracts, including purchase agreements and sale deeds
- Manage negotiations with landowners and stakeholders to facilitate transactions
- Due Diligence
- Verify ownership, titles, and legal status of lands involved in acquisition
- Assess potential legal risks related to land acquisition and resolve any inconsistencies in ownership documents
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with land laws, zoning regulations, and all applicable local, regional, and national laws
- Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and licenses in coordination with government agencies
- Serve as the liaison with relevant regulatory bodies and government offices
- Dispute Resolution
- Address and resolve land disputes, including boundary issues and ownership conflicts

- Legal Advisory

- At least 5-7 years of legal experience, preferably in land acquisition, real estate law, or property development
- Extensive knowledge of land laws, titling, conversion, zoning regulations, and property disputes
- Proven track record of drafting and negotiating land contracts and handling land disputes
- Expertise in conducting due diligence on land titles, ownership verification, and legal document review
