Supply Chain Manager (Chinese Speaking)
Position Overview: The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution. This role involves developing strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, ensure cost efficiency, and deliver exceptional service to customers while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, innovation, and a results-driven approach to enhance the organization's competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Leadership: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s business goals. o Lead and inspire a team of supply chain managers and staff to ensure operational excellence. o Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the supply chain team.
2. Procurement and Supplier Management: Establish relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing. o Oversee contract negotiations and manage supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality and timelines. o Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost reduction.
3. Logistics and Distribution: Streamline logistics and distribution processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. o Monitor transportation costs and optimize routing to enhance operational efficiency. o Manage warehousing and inventory systems to reduce costs while meeting demand.
4. Inventory Management: Oversee demand forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment processes. o Implement systems to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overages. 5. Operational Excellence and Technology: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain using lean and Six Sigma methodologies. o Leverage technology and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) to improve supply chain visibility and reporting. o Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to implement best practices.
6. Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity during disruptions. o Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements related to supply chain operations.
7. Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Finance, and Operations to align supply chain processes with company needs. o Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management with at least 5 years in a leadership role. ·
- Proven experience in procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management tools.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills. · Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
