Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the business dynamics of the channel partners, their target market, and the goals drivers of Holcim Philippines
  • Creates “win-win” situations for all parties, with each channel together with the ability to recognize when this is not possible and the diplomacy and tact to deal with the consequential changes that would be required in the channel structure
  • Forecasts sales volume, selling price, and market share based on reading on market conditions of the concerned sales area
  • Sells and distributes cement to channel network to attain the desired volume and market share for the concerned sales area, based on an approved selling price
  • Maintains proper account management of receivables through a sustained collection of collaterals and payments on invoices, including Customer Withholding Taxes (CWT), application of credit memos, and others
  • Develops and maintains good customer relationships with the different employees of all the channel customers to ensure the sustainability of business; ensuring all customer issues are resolved at all times
  • Implements marketing incentives and acts as a resource person for the development of marketing incentives; recommends marketing incentives needed in the area
  • Handles the P&L of the regions where they are assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be a college graduate, preferably in Civil Engineering or any Engineering and Business course
  • Must have at least three years of sales-related experience in building materials or the FMCG industry
  • Preferably with exposure to retail sales, solution selling, value creation, and working with government units and private contractors
  • Must have a Non-Professional Driver's License
