Job Description
We are the experts in Avaloq's end-to-end Payments and Cash Operations solutions and maintain, improve and innovate the associated modules throughout all software layers, from customer-specific configuration for our *SaaSclients, the Avaloq Banking Standard (ABR/S) for the various markets, down to the innermost core development for each of our clients.
As a member of the Payment team, you will be part of a dynamic team of software developers, business analysts and consultants located around the world. You will have the opportunity to be a subject matter expert (SME) and enjoy a wide variety of assignments within your functional area in the team. We are looking for a software developer who appreciates customer interaction and is also keen to work on customization layers.

- To write solution designs for new developments and have them reviewed with our technical leads and architects
- To implement new business functionality on the appropriate software layer and add automated tests
- To take ownership of your modules, and work with your colleagues to maintain the functionality
- To collaborate with colleagues both within and outside the team
- A university degree in computer science or equivalent
- An interest in banking
- Excellent programming skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong client focus and communication skills in English
- Motivation and a collaborative mindset along with a structured approach to your work
- An eagerness to grow, learn and work on the various software layers
- Experience in the financial industry
- Knowledge of PL/SQL and relational database systems
- Business know-how in Investment and Trading
- Experience of agile methodologies
