
Sales Development Representative (SDR)-Remotely
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Happy BPO's client (will share details in interview) you will play a pivotal role in growing the company’s revenue by identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for the sales team. You will be responsible for conducting outbound prospecting efforts, developing relationships with potential customers, and collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams to drive business growth. You will also be helping e-commerce businesses improve their customer service operations through the platform, which is designed specifically for online merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Qualification: Conduct outbound prospecting through emails, videos, and social media to identify and qualify potential customers.
- Develop a deep understanding of the e-commerce market and ideal target customers to build and manage a pipeline of prospects.
- Research and identify relevant companies and key decision-makers to target.
Engagement & Outreach: Execute targeted outreach campaigns to engage with prospects and convert leads into qualified opportunities.
- Engage in meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their business challenges and identify how the clients’ solutions can help them.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of the customer service software.
Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to transition qualified leads to the sales team.
- Participate in regular sales meetings to strategize and improve outreach methods and team performance.
Metrics & Reporting: Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as number of videos, emails, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Provide feedback on outreach effectiveness and customer insights to the marketing and sales teams.
Requirements:
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related field, preferably in SaaS or tech companies.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and/or customer service industries is a plus.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging potential customers.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Experience with CRM software and other sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, outreach.io, etc.
