Trade Promotion and Communication Officer

Objectives:
Responsible for providing support in Communication, Marketing and Business Development Projects under the Trade Promotion Department.
The position reports to the Senior Manager TP and Senior Manager Comms.
Principal Accountabilities
Communication
- Conceptualization and creation of marketing campaigns for social media and website in line with AHK company identity guidelines
- Monitor and analyze social media/website/marketing performance
- Proofreading written materials from within the organization
- Writing and researching for articles related to events, services, publications, and other GPCCI matters
- Research/pitching of marketing spiels and strategies for social media/website campaigns
- Support marketing efforts for organizational events, partnerships, and sponsorships
· Editing and updating of website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
- Support in other AHK Publication projects
Trade Promotion
· Market research for business development and customer acquisition and support
· Inquiry Management support with research and communication with (potential) customers
- Support for TP Projects such as Business Matchings, Scoping Missions and Events Projects like company or product launches, trainings and conferences
Job Specifications and Qualifications
Education
- Minimum is a Bachelor’s Degree in economics, business management or related disciplines
- Experience 1 year of experience in the field of business development or trade promotion
- Experience with marketing and events management
- Experience with market research and excellent knowledge about Philippine economy, trade and business
Key Competencies
- Excellent management skills Effective communication, excellent verbal and written capabilities, engaging presentation skills.
- Required languages: English
- Nice to have: German
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
