Key Responsibilities:

Litigation:

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
  • Attend depositions, mediations, and arbitration sessions.
  • Advise clients on litigation risks and strategies.
  • Manage and resolve disputes efficiently, negotiating settlements where applicable.

Contracts:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
  • Advise clients on contract formation, interpretation, and enforcement issues.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to contractual obligations.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure their contracts meet their business needs and legal standards.
  • Resolve contract disputes through alternative dispute resolution or litigation as necessary.

General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and case law.
  • Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients in both written and oral formats.
  • Manage a diverse caseload with attention to deadlines and client objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior lawyers and other team members to build case strategies and share insights.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited Law School.
  • With at least 1 year of experience in litigation and contract law, experience in a Retail Setup is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and contract law principles.
  • Excellent legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent client service and interpersonal skills.
