We’re looking for a Mortgage Administrator to join our team at MBPS. This role manages new personal account set up for mortgage products and handles subsequent requests once the account has been opened which include simple financial transactions and all non-financial transactions up to property discharge and account closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring all mortgage and non-financial transactions are processed accurately and within service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage straightforward financial transactions for mortgage products.
- Collaborate with business units to address issues and questions related to Manulife Bank's products and processes.
- Adhere to AML guidelines, applying enhanced due diligence for high-risk clients and regulatory compliance.
- Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods and high-volume situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in bank operations is a plus.
- College/university graduate, preferably in Banking and Finance, Management, Accounting, or related fields.
- Internal candidates must meet service quality and productivity metrics for the past six months.
- Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to compose clear and concise emails and understand customer information.
- Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute with good navigation skills.
- Capable of working independently, adapting to changing environments, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Computer literacy, including knowledge of browsers and relevant applications.
- Basic computer operation skills, including booting and shutting down systems.
