Rua Seguridad is in search of a Finance Controller to join our team and play a key role in driving organizational success. The ideal candidate will manage all the aspects of financial planning & management, oversee the accounting team operations, and spearhead development of financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- LMA - Manage and guide the entire Finance department to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Supervise and direct various accounting operations, including Financial Reporting, Cost Accounting, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Tax Compliance, and Treasury.
- Establish and implement financial controls and policies to maintain compliance and minimize risk.
- Direct and oversee financial planning activities and analysis to support company objectives and operations
- Manage External Relations (Corporate Data)
- Financial Analysis
- Data Management and Centralization
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
- Master’s degree/advanced degree in accounting is preferred
- CPA in good standing
- At least two (2) years of experience as a financial controller, or similar
- At least ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of combined experience in accounting & finance (general accounting, financial reporting & analysis, budgeting & forecasting, and policy development)
- Outstanding knowledge of accounting principles and procedures is required
- Must be proficient in using MS Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint)
- Leadership experience is highly preferred
- Must be detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills, and possesses people management skills
- Experience in using ERP systems or other accounting systems is an advantage
