Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Global Technical Training Engineer. The Technical Training Engineer supports the development of training and qualification standards, and in ensuring the institutionalization of these standards across the organization. He/she develops qualification tools and manages qualification data. She/He is primarily responsible in the management of digital learning resources, and in the digitalization of technical training materials.

What are the Responsibilities?

  • Develops policies, guidelines and procedures aimed at delivering effective, efficient and just-in-time training programs for Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing
  • Reviews and revises, as needed, existing technical training systems and standards
  • Facilitates alignment and reviews with other Department/Functional Group related to the development of standards
  • Plans and monitors the full cycle of standards development from ideation to drafting, selection of test site/s (or lead model), up to reviews and approval
  • Ensures documentation of standard and tools, as well as document control during dissemination
  • Plans deployment or determines deployment phases of new or revised standards
  • Develops assessment tool and/or HealthCheck to serve as a guide in the effective implementation of standards
  • Equips Plant Leaders or System Owners on standard requirements and on the use of tools through training and qualification
  • Gathers and analyzes data and provides information on effectiveness of standards implementation
  • Develops training programs with the concerned Department/Functional Group or Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Provides guidance on planning of training programs; identifies trainers and training sites
  • Documents program deployment, prepares and submits training evaluation reports
  • Designs and develops qualification tracking forms or template for use by Plants/E&T Pillar Leader

What are the Qualifications?

  • Engineering graduate or related technical course
  • With experience in food manufacturing preferred
  • Adept in the use of MS Office Suites; with inclination towards technical training, module development and manufacturing standards development; communicable, adaptable and innovative to be on a global team.
