About the Role:
The Human Resources Manager for Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the full spectrum of HR functions to support the operational needs of the organization. This includes employee relations and engagement, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance. The OM Manager will collaborate closely with operational managers and leadership teams to ensure that HR policies and strategies align with organizational goals and foster a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of operational workflows to ensure that HR services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
What you'll do:
- Providing strategic HR leadership and support across the organization
- Overseeing all HR operations including timekeeping, payroll, benefits administration, performance management, employee engagement, and employee relations
- Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Leading and managing the HR team to deliver high-quality service
- Partnering with business leaders to understand their needs and provide effective HR solutions
- Driving employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations
- Keeping up to date on governmental laws and requirements that affect the organization
- Strive to address or elevate any critical employee-related concerns to management as needed
What we're looking for:
- Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, HR or Social Sciences, Engineering and/or can be a graduate of Education or related areas.
- Minimum of 6-8 years experience in a generalist HR role
- With at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- With a strong background in business partnering
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proven track record in leading and managing an HR team
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis
- With strong partnership, influencing, communication, and coordination skills with both external and internal stakeholders laterally and vertically.
- Strong emotional maturity, with ability to connect and build harmonious relationship across all levels in the organization
