Business Analyst - Third-Party Freight Opportunities
The Business Analyst role supports the Third-Party Freight Opportunities service by analyzing freight data, coordinating with local transportation teams, and managing reporting through Power BI, MS Excel, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Suite applications. This role is pivotal in driving process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
Scope of Work:
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and Excel-based reports.
- Identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations to improve freight coordination.
- Independently analyze BOL data to uncover high-value backhaul opportunities.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel reports for tracking freight opportunities.
- Lead weekly reporting efforts, ensuring accuracy in data validation.
Process Improvement
- Enhance freight tracking and reporting processes for greater efficiency.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvement opportunities to streamline operations and enhance data accuracy.
- Work proactively with the Strategic Support team and other internal stakeholders to improve tracking and reporting processes.
Project Management
- Independently review, assess, and prioritize third-party freight opportunities.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for C.H. Robinson customer support.
- Act as a primary point of contact for vendor CPU coordination and follow-ups.
