Role Description

Promote and position organic food and farming towards food stakeholder, retailers and HORECA in the Philippines in line with Naturland principles and standards.

  • Coordination and implementation of an EU financed 3-year promotion campaign for organic food in the Philippines together with a marketing agency.
  • Pitch organic food and farming as well as Naturland towards food business, retailer and HORECA.
  • Position Naturland as sustainability player in Manila and the Philippines
  • Design and deliver trainings on organic food and farming for food stakeholders and HORECA.
  • Enhance the uptake of organic products into daily business of retail and HORECA
  • Represent Naturland at events and liaise with stakeholders in the food sector.
  • Ensure proper project implementation and coordination of Naturland projects in cooperation with the Naturland team in the Philippines and Germany.
  • Ensure professional project documentation and administration.

Qualifications

  • A successfully completed university degree in agriculture, environmental science, food business or marketing
  • In-depth knowledge of food business and/or HORECA sector in the Philippines.
  • A solid understanding of organic food and farming principles.
  • Several years of professional experience in the food sector or likewise.
  • Good networking and pitching skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Learning Management Systems is a plus).
  • A proactive work ethic, result-oriented and innovative spirit, teamwork ability.
  • Located in Manila
  • Willingness to travel within the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
