Job Role Summary/Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our podiatry clinic as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a crucial role in accurately documenting patients' medical information and ensuring seamless communication between healthcare professionals.
Job Highlights
- Monthly Rate: Approximately PHP 46,000
- Paid Hours per Week: 40
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with 1hr unpaid break | Fresno, California, Pacific Standard Time
- Work Arrangement: Work from home
- Contract: Independent Contractor
Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings in real-time, accurately documenting patients' medical information in electronic health records (EHR).
- Send transcriptions for approval by healthcare providers, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the recorded information
- Transmit transcriptions to appropriate medical facilities, facilitating efficient and timely communication between healthcare professionals
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the podiatry clinic.
Requirements
- Candidate should have minimum of 2 years experience in medical scribing or medical transcription
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Fast and accurate typist, capable of typing no less than 45 words per minute.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate and comprehensive medical documentation.
- Good internet service and internet-savvy, enabling efficient communication and access to electronic health records systems.
