Responsibilities:
- Acts as the resource manager of Quality Assurance (QA) Analysts
- Manages and mentors Quality Assurance (QA) Analysts
- Monitors and consolidates key performance results.
- Provides feedback and coaching on performance/customer satisfaction survey results.
- Assesses, manages and communicates the training, competency and development needs of Quality Assurance (QA) Analysts.
- Conducts training and orientation to new team members.
- Facilitates job shadowing activities to help onboard new team members or build the competencies of the existing team members.
- Develops deep knowledge and expertise on Barhead products and services.
- Develops and manages QA and consulting best practices and standards.
- Supports the functional team in preparing client demos and presentations.
- Collaborates with functional and delivery leads in planning/estimating QA activities in projects and work assignments.
- Works on projects and leads the work of other Quality Assurance (QA) Analysts
- Develop and maintain QA documents such as test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
- Prepare test data and manage testing environment
- Execute functional tests, regression tests, and data tests
- Report bugs, track defects, and resolve issues with the developers
- Assists in the enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- At least 15 years Quality Assurance experience
- At least 6 years experience in leading or managing a team of QA Analysts
- A solid understanding of quality SDLC and Modern Test Methodologies focusing on testing web applications
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (ex. CMMI, ISO, ITIL, etc) is an advantage
- Experience with automated testing tools and defect-tracking tools (ex. JIRA)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science/IT/Business Management
- Experience working in an IT consulting organization or environment
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience with different project methodologies (Agile, waterfall, et al.)
- Experience in working in a global environment, delivering service to global clients
- Must be willing to travel and be amenable to changes in work shift/location, as needed on a per project basis
