We are looking for an experienced HR and Operations Manager to join our team. The HR & Operations Manager is primarily responsible for managing all human resource-related functions to support the employees, consultants, and mentors lifecycle and ensure smooth HR processes. This includes recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, records management, payroll, OKR and performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
While the main focus is on HR, the role may also provide secondary support to business operations-related tasks during peak periods.
Primary Responsibility: Human Resource Management (inclusive of employees, consultants and mentors) and management of OKR
Secondary Responsibility: Business Operations support (as required)
Roles & Responsibilities
Human Resource
- Recruitment: Lead and manage job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Employee & Contractor Management: Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and contractors, including document preparation and induction coordination.
- Mentor Management: Manage the onboarding, offboarding, and renewal of mentor agreements, including maintaining mentor records and updates.
- HR Records & Compliance: Maintain and update employee and consultant records in HR systems, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Performance Management (OKRs): Lead end to end OKR and performance management process.
- Employee Engagement & Development: Design and drive employee engagement initiatives and oversee training and development programs.
- Culture & Values Initiative: Manage company’s initiatives such as Cheers for Peers initiative
- Payroll Administration: Manage payroll for employees and consultants.
- HR Advisory Support: Serve as the main contact for all HR-related inquiries from employees, consultants and ensure timely resolution.
- HR Process Improvement: Develop, implement and continuously improve HR processes and procedures.
- HR Reporting & Insights: Prepare HR-related reports and insights for decision-making.
Business Operations
- Accounts Payable support: Proactively support timely and accurate preparation of accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment.
- Operational Reporting & Process Improvement: Proactively contribute to process improvements and support the team in generating operational reports and insights.
- Startups Management: Support startups onboarding and maintain up to date records in the CRM and internal databases.
- Partnership Administration: Support administrative aspects of partner management, including record-keeping and renewals.
- Mentor support: Provide assistance for mentor-related queries concerning systems, processes, and invoicing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR with demonstrated experience across the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and payroll).
- Experience in performance management frameworks such as OKRs and driving employee engagement initiatives.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across different stakeholder groups.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach to HR and operational processes.
