The Innovations Officer/Agile Coach helps individuals and squads adopt and improve their agile methodologies and practices. Responsibilities
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies: Responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. They help teams to conduct these meetings effectively and ensure that they are following agile principles and practices. He/She will help Leaders set up an Agile system that would ensure there is continuous and sustainable change across their teams and organization.
- Providing coaching and mentorship: Responsible for providing coaching and mentorship to individuals and teams to help them develop their skills and adopt agile practices. They may work with team members one-on-one or in small groups to help them improve their performance and collaborate more effectively. He/She is expected to provide feedback to both team members and leaders to ensure adherence to the Agile Values and way of working.
- Identifying and addressing roadblocks: Responsible for identifying roadblocks to team success and helping teams to overcome them. They may work with teams to identify bottlenecks, remove obstacles, and streamline processes to improve team performance.
- Promoting Agile values and principles: Responsible for promoting the values and principles of Agile within the organization. They work to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and experimentation, and help teams to adopt Agile practices that support these values. Role models the Agile values and teaches leaders and teams how to incorporate these in their day-to-day.
- Providing training and education: Responsible for providing training and education to team members and stakeholders to help them understand Agile principles and practices. They may develop training materials, facilitate workshops and training sessions, and provide guidance on how to apply Agile practices in specific contexts. He/She will partner with Learning and Development in building and facilitating training courses to improve understanding of Agile across the Bank.
- Supporting organizational transformation: Responsible for supporting organizational change initiatives by helping teams and stakeholders to adopt new ways of working. They work with leadership to align organizational goals with Agile principles and help to create an environment that supports Agile practices and continuous improvement. Supports and works closely with Agile Head on defining the roadmap for BPIs Agile at Scale journey.
- Performs other related functions from time to time.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any business-related courses.
- 2-5 years relevant experience in Agile Transformation, Project Management, Program Implementation.
- Has a strong foundation in innovation, coupled with extensive experience in learning and development, change management, project implementation, and organizational transformation.
