POSITION SUMMARY

Building Engineer provides management of all facility maintenance activities, consisting of periodic maintenance, repair of equipment, support building architectural, HVAC, electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
  • Licensed Engineer (Required)
  • At least 2 years of work experience as a building engineer or in a similar role (preferably in office buildings)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Checks and monitors the physical condition, general upkeep; cleanliness of the building, its surroundings, and its facilities.
  • Provides direction and training of new engineers/technicians for the familiarization of building operation and maintenance.
  • Conducts regular building inspection and preparing reports.
  • Ensures facilities are in compliance with company policies, regulations, and building codes.
  • Responds to inquiries and requests by building tenants and resolving any problems or issues.
