- Facilitate the transformation of Bastion, its subsidiaries, and clients by improving policies, procedures, and forms. Ensure alignment with global best practices.
Leadership in Methodology Establishment
- Lead the introduction and adoption of world-class methodologies, tools, and techniques to foster a culture of positive change and continuous improvement.
Policy and Process Consistency
- Implement consistent, transparent policies, processes, and procedures across all segments of the business to promote efficiency and clarity.
Identifying Gaps and Opportunities
- Identify and address operational gaps at all levels and actively look for opportunities to enhance business practices and apply best practices across the enterprise.
Benchmarking and Process Management Improvement
- Benchmark against industry standards and market practices, offering proposals for process management improvements to elevate Bastion’s performance.
Quality Metrics Development
- Introduce and manage key quality metrics that align with performance areas such as excellence and effectiveness in departments like Quality Leaders and Internal Audit.
Mentoring and Leadership Development
- Lead, develop, and mentor business excellence specialists at Bastion to foster future growth, innovation, and continuous improvement in their designated fields.
Crisis Resiliency and Risk/Compliance Services Contribution
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Bastion’s Crisis Resiliency and Automated Risk and Compliance services, which may involve scoping, planning, gap analysis, and service delivery.
Reporting
- Prepare and submit regular departmental accomplishment reports as required, ensuring transparency and tracking of progress.
Continuous Improvement
- Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of Bastion’s offerings, products, and services to maintain a competitive edge and respond to market needs.
Cultural Support and Communication
- Uphold and reinforce Bastion’s mission, values, and culture, ensuring alignment across the organization.
Additional Responsibilities
- Be flexible and perform other tasks as requested by management to meet evolving business needs.
- Management Experience: Proven experience in a leadership or management role, ideally within a process improvement or business excellence context. Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change, mentor teams, and lead initiatives that align with company goals.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Experience in the financial sector and/or information technology industry is highly preferred and will be given significant consideration. Understanding the nuances and challenges in these industries can be advantageous for developing tailored solutions.
- Educational Background:
- A Bachelor’s or College degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, or an equivalent field is required. This foundational knowledge supports the understanding of organizational dynamics and strategic management practices.
- Advanced Education & Certifications:
- Possession of advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, Master’s in a related field) will be highly regarded.
- Certifications in areas such as Lean Six Sigma, Project Management (PMP), or any relevant business excellence or process improvement certifications will be considered a strong asset.
