Civil/Structural/Architectural Drafter
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil/Structural/Architectural Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with industry-standard design and drafting software, including Revit, AutoCAD, 12D, Civil 3D, and Bentley Rail Track. This role involves preparing technical drawings and documentation for civil, structural, and architectural projects while collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil, structural, and architectural projects.
- Utilize Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM) to develop detailed architectural and structural models.
- Use AutoCAD for precise drafting and documentation of construction drawings.
- Apply 12D and Civil 3D to design and model civil infrastructure, including roads, drainage, and land development.
- Work with Bentley Rail Track (or OpenRail Designer) to produce rail alignment and corridor designs.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design specifications and requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and project guidelines.
- Manage and maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation throughout project lifecycles.
- Perform quality checks and review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Certificate in Civil/Structural Drafting, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in civil, structural, or architectural drafting.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, 12D, Civil 3D, and Bentley Rail Track/OpenRail Designer.
- Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles and architectural design.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and survey data.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other Bentley Systems software (e.g., MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer).
- Familiarity with local building codes, rail standards, and infrastructure guidelines.
- Previous work on rail, road, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
