Job Description

As a Corporate Affairs Associate, you will be working with a manager on the following core activities, playing an active role in risk management:

  • Analyzing information, formulating strategies, and developing and communicating recommendations to mitigate risk for high-priority projects;
  • Assist in managing projects to ensure all related teams are informed of risk and execute plan accordingly;
  • Review internal and external communications strategy meant to protect Shopee's reputation;
  • Ensure external communication is effective, consistent, and reflect company branding and values;
  • Regular collection and review of incident reports for accuracy and completeness;
  • Provide advice and guidance to teams consulting on their projects and incidents; and
  • Perform audits on high-risk processes and implement improvements to address source of risk.

Requirements

Experience Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in analytical, problem-solving roles in a fast-paced environment
  • Has experience in any of the following: Project Management, Stakeholder management, Communications
  • Preferred but not required: Experience working in logistics industry, consulting

Knowledge And Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to effectively communicate verbally and written and collaborate with stakeholders of all levels
  • Self-starter personality and strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Good collaborator and eager to learn
  • Proficient in Excel/GSheets to process data and analyze information
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience with tight deadlines and dealing with conflicting priorities, whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality
