Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager of Budget Management and Administration will assist in overseeing the operational and administrative activities related to budget management, processing, and monitoring for SMG. Collaborate with regional and territory sales leaders to provide financial analysis on historical performance and assist in the expense planning process for the Sales & Marketing team.
Budget Request Management:
Support in managing the operational processes related to receiving, documenting, reviewing, and processing all Budget Requests (BR) within the Sales & Marketing team. Ensure compliance with turnaround times and quality standards.
Reporting & Efficiency Monitoring:
Assist in preparing and presenting regular reports on BR submissions, on-time activity execution, and SME spending efficiency. Provide support in analyzing financial performance and recommending optimization strategies.
Policy & Compliance:
Assist in ensuring all budget activities and expenses align with the company's budgetary policies and relevant accounting regulations. Help identify and address deviations efficiently.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of budget management and financial analysis.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
