We’re seeking a Strategic Research Specialist to enhance our creative work with data-driven insights. Your role will involve analyzing successful marketing strategies across multiple channels, identifying key trends in high-performing content, and delivering comprehensive intelligence briefs that provide actionable recommendations.
We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills and an intuitive understanding of effective marketing—someone who can quickly absorb information, spot connections others miss, and translate findings into valuable creative direction. While formal qualifications are a plus, we prioritize attention to detail, natural research ability, and a sharp eye for what truly works in marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Content Development
• Study competitors and market trends to identify emerging opportunities
• Extract actionable insights from customer reviews and feedback
• Compile visual references and examples of effective marketing assets
• Identify, analyze and curate high-performing visual content, including strategic scene selection for videos and imagery that aligns with brand messaging and resonates with our audience
• Create frameworks that highlight emotional benefits in our offerings
• Craft actionable research briefs that inspire creative teams
• Track competitor messaging effectiveness across platforms and identify successful communication patterns
• Conduct audience segmentation analysis to uncover what resonates with different customer groups and why
Data Analysis
• Analyze sales data, conversion rates and performance metrics to identify successful patterns
• Spot high-performing products and clear optimization opportunities
• Track seasonal trends and customer behavior to inform content strategy
• Connect data insights to actionable creative strategy recommendations that bridge analytics and creative execution
Requirements
• Quick-thinking researcher who can rapidly absorb and synthesize information
• Expert at finding patterns that others miss
• Self-driven with ability to work independently and set priorities
• Comfortable with data analysis tools and AI research assistants (if not, we can teach)
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to present findings clearly
• Collaborative mindset with ability to understand the needs of designers, copywriters, and marketers to deliver research they can actually use
