We are looking for a Network Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications and programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide first level support on network-related issues (WAN/LAN, Wired/Wireless, Voice/Web conferencing) requests, and network enhancement projects.
- Perform network device configuration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance semi-annual or as required.
- Provide assistance on network-related activities such as performing pre and post implementation testing, hardware acceptance test, user acceptance test, and during preventive maintenance of network devices.
- Perform network infrastructure monitoring to ensure systems availability and network performance.
- Prepare reports such as network performance monitoring, link utilization, response time, and network availability.
- Generate and provide incident analysis using CISCO ACI, FSO, and DNAC solutions.
- Coordinate with other support team, stakeholders, end users, and other service providers for service request, incident escalation and resolution.
- Communicate network outages / issues and initiate escalation process.
- Prepares Incident Report to document network outages, root cause analysis, & resolution. Escalate issue to Telco Service Provider and other level 2 support team. Monitor, track and report incident status and progress and ensure Service Level Agreement is met.
- Perform network operation tasks such as IT service management ticket update, network monitoring tools, IP Address Management system, network device inventory, network diagram documentation / update, and other network-related operational tasks.
- Manage, perform admin task, and coordinate with end-user on scheduling, testing, and setup for streaming video, and web conferencing.
Qualifications
- Graduate of 4-year IT related course degree
- Obtained at least forty (40) hours technical training related to computer networking within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of one-year relevant work experience in providing first level network support for wired and/or wireless LAN.
- Background in Cisco Network Device Configuration, SD-WAN, Video/Web conferencing, Network Monitoring (e.g. WhatsUp Gold, Cisco Prime Infrastructure) and other IT Service Management Tools
- Trained and knowledgeable in the management and operations of the Cisco ACI, FSO, DNAC solutions
- Must be Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
