Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares job requests and personnel’s work schedule based on the weekly plan of operations.
- Ensures that all materials (Raw, Packaging, Cleaning, Consumable) needed in the operations are in the production floor.
- Ensures that the surroundings are cleaned, sanitized and machines in good running condition, following Basic Equipment Care standards and systems.
- Supervises all production activities in his shift and ensure normal production run.
- Implements Company rules and regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, and responsible for employee discipline
- Monitors and analyzes performance of operations and initiates action plans for continual improvement.
- Accomplishes / collates daily reports (Daily Production Report, Inventory, CAR’s, etc.) on line operation for submission to Manager, Production.
- Informs the Production Manager or Maintenance Manager all matters affecting cost efficient operations, product quality and timely delivery of goods.
- Prepares reports for major machine breakdown that occurs during his shift operations.
- Ensures that all machines are properly shut down and Standard Cleaning Procedures are followed.
- Checks cleanliness of machines and surroundings, orderliness of the line and ensures that all materials (good and rejects) are properly placed in designated areas or disposed.
- Checks all machines are turned off before leaving the line, checks that the shutdown standard procedure is done and implemented.
- Performs recruitment and selection process to ensure that suitable applicants are placed in identified vacancies for Operator positions
- Carries out disciplinary actions from suspension to termination of employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.
- Conducts minimum of monthly equipment owner coaching.
- Leads the execution of Daily Stand-up: (a) turnover to next shift; (b) team shift; and (c ) Department level with the Production or Maintenance Manager.
- Manages the execution of daily management systems in his/her shift of assignment: safety; quality; defact handling; Centerlining; BEC checklist; planning & scheduling or other DMS defined by the line or department.
- Responsible for the skills needs assessment, skills development planning and training execution of his team.
- Responsible for the safety of his team via: (a) elimination of unsafe condition in the whole line; (b) regular behaviour based safety audit to identify unsafe behaviours; and (c ) elimination of safety defect sin the whole line.
- Responsible to process time-keeping transaction approval for subordinates
- Responsible to process material and finished good system transaction using the Company's computer management system.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Malvar, Batangas
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical or equivalent.
