Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Maintenance Planner.
The Maintenance Planner will ensure that preventive and/or corrective maintenance works are scheduled efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and maximizing the productivity of equipment and machinery, facilities and utilities. This role is responsible in implementing, maintaining and continuously improving the execution of Planning & Scheduling and other PM Pillar systems in the assigned area in order to improve machine availability, reduce maintenance cost and reduce spares inventory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and Schedule maintenance work
- Reviews and prioritize SAP notifications from red tag defects within 24 hours of generation. Update the plan and schedule accordingly.
- Leads the Defect Handling, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling and Breakdown Management systems during Daily Stand-Up meetings
- Plans and schedule tasks assigned in the DSU meetings, Department PDCA, and tasks assigned in the Weekly Department meetings
- Leads the weekly Planning & Scheduling (P&S) meeting and ensures maintenance activities are planned & scheduled encompassing both Production and Utilities equipment for the next week or month and assign the required resources (labor, tools, spare parts and downtime)
- Leads the execution of maintenance activities, execute critique and create systemic actions to address gaps
- Develops, updates and implements the maintenance plans of all equipment handles and improve the plan by conducting root cause analysis on recurring failures
- Ensures accuracy and proper documentation of records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, material master data, maintenance procedures and reports
- Ensures the creation and updating of the Maintenance Technical Documentation as necessary
- Leads the Scheduling of the maintenance work for the next month in the Monthly PM meeting as dictated by the maintenance plan and previously identified work requests
- Executes Leadership Coaching on the Floor when assigned in the DSU
- Leads PM action plans or PM Systems update coming from Loss Analysis or the use of any ISCE tools
- Ensuring that maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations, environmental standards, and organizational policies. Coordinating with safety officers and following proper procedures for hazardous materials handling, equipment lockout/tagout, and other safety protocols.
- Sets and establishes Planned Maintenance and enroll Spare Parts for Inventory (BOM)
- Manages repairs and maintenance cost and CAPEX project planning and execution
- Manages maintenance workshop areas and tools and implement systems to organize and protect company asset
Qualifications
- College level preferably Electrical engineering course
- At least 2 or more years of experience in related field
- Knowledgeable in manufacturing operations and technologies
- Experience in mechanical and electrical systems, instrumentation and calibration
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of plant utilities (Boiler, Chilled Water, Compressed Air, HVAC, Water and Wastewater Treatment, Power Systems)
- Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System applications, preferably SAP
