Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. This individual will play a critical role in developing and executing our client’s social media strategy across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Pinterest. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production, content creation, and social media management. The Social Media Manager will collaborate closely with the client’s Head of Marketing and Marketing Associate to maintain and execute a messaging calendar that aligns with our brand’s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

  • Content Creation: Develop, produce, and edit engaging multimedia content, with a strong focus on video, tailored for each social media platform.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and oversee the company’s social media profiles and presence, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Marketing to align content strategies with overall marketing goals and maintain an effective messaging calendar.
  • Campaign Execution: Plan and execute social media campaigns, including scheduling posts, monitoring performance, and adjusting strategies based on analytics and feedback.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster relationships with followers to build a strong online community.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and content, providing regular reports and insights to the Head of Marketing.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the social media strategy.
  • Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all content and interactions align with the company’s voice and values.

Video Editing & Creative Direction

  • Video Prep Enhancement: Retrieve video assets posted by the sales team. Following the style guide, cut the edits to timeline, add branded bumpers and text overlay, add music, and any other required edits. Upload the final edit to YouTube.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute compelling visual narratives that align with brand guidelines and client objectives.
  • Ensure all creative outputs meet quality standards, are optimized for various platforms, and effectively communicate the intended message.

Client Servicing

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring seamless communication and understanding of their needs and objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, providing updates, and addressing concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders(VMG) and external (client) stakeholders to ensure alignment and the successful delivery of client projects.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and confidence with both clients and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably within the Outdoors or Events categories.
  • Strong proficiency in video editing, and post-production.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms (i.e. Buffer, HootSuite, Sprout Social).
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique and engaging content.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (i.e.., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Vegas Pro and other editing) is a plus.
  • Experience with U.S Client is a plus
  • Must be willing work U.S. Timezone (Night Shift) and adhere to the U.S. Holidays
