Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Environment, Health and Safety Manager (EHS Manager)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate, manage, and synthesize data points and performance metrics related to occupational safety, health, and environment including, but not limited to, incident rates, loss time incidences, water and energy usage ratios, and regulatory compliances.
  • Create strategies and action plans relevant to occupational safety, health, and environment, and monitor implementation of such action plans; and coordinate such action plans to Department Heads and/or their authorized representatives.
  • Coordinate with Department Heads in implementing policies and internal memorandum related to occupational safety, health, and environment; and alignment with updates on implemented policies and standards related but not limited to EHS Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL, and FSSC.
  • Manage, implement and lead execution of programs and processes for emergency preparedness, pollution control, disaster risk management, pandemic or epidemic business continuity plan, and other relevant function.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemica/Civil or equivalent.
  • Knowledge on Regulatory requirements, Safety and Environmental Laws.
  • Knowledge in Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations and processes.
  • Strong on problem solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Malvar, Batangas
  • With PRC License or Certificates from the related field such as DOLE Accreditation as Safety Practitioner and PCO Accreditation (DENR or LLDA)
  • Full-Time positions available, onsite
