Head of Supply Chain Management (BGC/ONSITE)

Job Summary

The Head of Supply Chain Management is responsible for leading and optimizing the company's end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution. This role ensures seamless operations, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience while mitigating risks and driving sustainability. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop strategic supply chain initiatives that enhance agility, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Supply Chain Management

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy to optimize cost, efficiency, and reliability.
• Align supply chain operations with overall business goals, collaborating with Procurement, Finance, and Project Management teams.
• Foster supplier and logistics partnerships to improve supply chain resilience and performance.

Operations & Process Optimization

• Oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure efficient operations.
• Implement technology-driven solutions for real-time tracking, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
• Optimize inventory management to minimize shortages, reduce excess stock, and improve turnaround times.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Develop and enforce supply chain risk mitigation strategies, including contingency planning and alternative sourcing.
• Ensure compliance with local and international supply chain regulations, sustainability standards, and ethical sourcing policies.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor supply chain performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to enhance communication and alignment across departments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees (MBA, MSc in Supply Chain) and professional certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) are highly preferred.
• Proven experience in supply chain leadership roles, with expertise in procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights for decision-making and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
