Title: Production Planning & Inventory Control Assistant Manager
The Production Planning and Inventory Control Assistant Manager is responsible for detailed production planning of Work-in-Progress (WIP) and finished goods products produced on-site. This includes creating long-term production plans for WIP and finished goods based on demand forecasts and supply plans, as well as developing long-term supply plans for traded products. Additionally, it ensures site readiness for special holiday events and new product launches by aligning production plans with forecasted volumes and initiative plans.
The Production Planning and Inventory Control Assistant Manager is responsible for detailed production planning of Work-in-Progress (WIP) and finished goods products produced on-site. This includes creating long-term production plans for WIP and finished goods based on demand forecasts and supply plans, as well as developing long-term supply plans for traded products. Additionally, it ensures site readiness for special holiday events and new product launches by aligning production plans with forecasted volumes and initiative plans.
- Reviews and approves supply planning requisitions, short- and long-term plans, and scenarios of forecast changes.
- Ensures coordination with various departments for smooth material and production planning.
- Oversees the creation of monthly and weekly production work orders, monitors production material consumption, and approves purchase orders for raw materials.
- Ensures alignment with the manufacturing group regarding weekly output and reviews production work orders.
- Maintains buffer levels of finished goods and raw materials, evaluate inventory levels, and ensure planners meet inventory turnover rate targets.
- Monitors and evaluates the performance of direct reports, provides training opportunities, and recommends changes in assignments.
- Adheres to company policies, including GMP, food safety, and quality schemes.
- A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any related business course
- With at least three (3) years of experience in inventory, capacity, and production planning in a manufacturing plant.
- Must have managerial and people-handling experience.
- Must be capable of handling one (1) to two (2) manufacturing clusters.
- Must be proficient in advanced Excel, ERP/MRP-MPS, Oracle, WMS, ASCP, and other Microsoft applications.
- Possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a meticulous, analytical mindset.
- Must be willing to travel occasionally and work onsite in Canlubang, Laguna.
