Title: Production Planning & Inventory Control Manager

The Production Planning and Inventory Control Manager is responsible for ensuring timely and most efficient supply planning of raw materials and finished goods to meet the requirements of clients. This role is directly responsible for managing a total of 320 SKUs (wet and dry) and collaborating closely with all functional units of other business units to ensure supply availability.

  • Provides long-term strategic perspective on production planning and capability development.
  • Analyzes and resolves supply and demand-related issues in a timely and accurate manner and provides direction to PPIC personnel in handling supply issues and generating action plans.
  • Reviews and approves forecasts and supply planning requirements before actual purchases are carried out.
  • Develops production planning systems and procedures for compliance to ensure 100% FG availability at optimum cost (inventory, rental, manufacturing efficiency).
  • Reviews finished goods and raw materials inventory coverage with stakeholders that ensures warehouse rental costs within the commissary budget.
  • Conducts inventory review meetings with the commissary operations group and JWSL for warehouse optimization and generates action plans for improvement.
  • Evaluates inventory levels of raw materials depending on finished goods movement and space requirement of the site.
  • Recommends buffer levels of finished goods based on given demand/requirements. Reviews and recommends revisions on buffer level depending on supplier reliability, order leadtime, and other supplier-related concerns.

Job Qualifications

  • A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any related business course
  • With at least five (5) years of experience in inventory, capacity, and production planning in a manufacturing plant.
  • Must have managerial and people-handling experience.
  • Must be proficient in advanced Excel, ERP/MRP-MPS, Oracle, WMS, ASCP, and other Microsoft applications.
  • Possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a meticulous, analytical mindset.
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally and work onsite in Canlubang, Laguna.
