Desktop Support Engineer
Job Brief:
As a Desktop Support Associate, you are responsible for the smooth execution of assigned tasks
and day to day operations. You will ensure that your work is finished properly and on time. You will
assist with hardware and software issues. Also, providing on-site or remote technical assistance
including the setting up of computer hardware systems, installing and upgrading software, and
troubleshooting basic and advanced IT issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible to provide technical assistance and support to the day-to-day incoming queries
and issues related to software and hardware, network, and telephony troubleshooting.
Provides 1 st level of response and resolution to Incident tickets raised via the Service Desk.
Ensures SLA compliance on all incidents.
Administrative duties such as creating documentation, asset management, and project
assistance. Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), and other systems.
Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
Preventive Maintenance.
Technical Skillsets:
Troubleshooting (Hardware, Application, & Networks).
Experience in Incident and Problem Management.
Experience in remote assistance.
Working knowledge in Endpoint Security applications.
Have keen analytical skills and a critical thinker.
Ability to multi-task and adjust to shifting priorities.
Knowledge in Active Directory and Google Workspace is a plus.
Competencies:
Ability to identify, analyze and address problems to resolve issues whenever possible in way
that minimizes negative impact and risk to the organization
Ability to work independently on initiatives with little supervision. Motivated and willing to
learn.
Good interpersonal skills.
Able to work with a global team.
Able to communicate in English
Other Skills:
Good with MS Office applications.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, BSCoE, or BSECE
Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience performing desktop support and management activities. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
