Job Description:
As a Director of Operations, you will be focused on digital strategy execution, affiliate marketing, content distribution, and community engagement. This role will drive audience growth, monetization, and overall platform performance while ensuring seamless execution across multiple initiatives.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in operations, digital strategy, or growth management within sports, media, or eCommerce
- Proven operations and project management leadership
- Hands-on experience with execution, deadlines, and resource coordination
- Customer-facing poise and the ability to represent the brand directly with partners and talent
- Startup adaptability—the ability to work in a fast-moving, lean, and often ambiguous environment
- Strong expertise in strategic planning, project management, cross-functional team leadership, and digital growth strategies is required.
- Proficiency in analytics tools, audience acquisition, and customer engagement is essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute long-term strategies for audience growth, brand engagement, and revenue.
- Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely execution of campaigns, product launches, and partnerships.
- Utilize project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com) to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and affiliate partners to align strategies.
- Step in for the VP when needed, maintaining smooth leadership transitions.
- Oversee affiliate marketing strategies to drive revenue and performance.
- Implement SEO, AIO, and audience acquisition strategies to enhance digital growth.
- Manage digital advertising, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and YouTube Ads.
- Use data-driven insights from analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot) to optimize engagement.
- Expand and optimize eCommerce and merchandise sales strategies for sports merchandise and fan-driven commerce.
- Develop and execute customer engagement, support, and retention strategies to enhance user experience.
- Ensure a customer-centric approach to platform operations and community interactions.
Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:
- A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
- A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
- A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
