This role focuses on the investment management process, requiring a solid understanding of macroeconomics (e.g., GDP, NFP, inflation) and the behavior of principal asset classes in response to economic indicators. You will assess clients’ or portfolios' risk profiles to meet return objectives, build and maintain strong relationships with onshore and offshore banks, fund managers, investment houses, and family offices, and provide strategic investment ideas using a top-down approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop investment portfolios using a top-down approach.
  • Analyze and maintain macroeconomic data to guide Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA) per risk profile.
  • Identify new investment opportunities and build a pipeline of ideas with partner institutions.
  • Apply Novel Capital’s investment philosophy to evaluate and recommend investment ideas.
  • Execute trades for Novel’s portfolio, track performance, and input trades in the internal system.
  • Prepare house views, asset allocations, and sample portfolios for clients and manage quarterly rebalancing.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners.
  • Convene family investment committee meetings quarterly to review TAA and investment choices.
  • Support clients with trade executions, cash placements, loans, deposits, and withdrawals as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Finance certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in financial or investment analysis; investment sales experience is a bonus.
  • International experience (direct or through client exposure) preferred.
  • Strong investment analysis skills and proven ability to network and build a pipeline.
  • Experience in financial sales is an advantage.
