Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with at least 3 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers.
  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Manage invoicing, payments, and collections from clients and vendors.
  • Reconcile accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Taxation & Compliance:

  • Prepare and file tax returns, remittances, and other government reports.
  • Banking & Reconciliation:
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Process payroll, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions.
  • Travel & Tourism Accounting:
  • Manage financial transactions related to travel bookings, ticketing, and reservations.
  • Monitor supplier payments and commissions.
  • Track foreign exchange transactions and multi-currency payments.
  • Internal Controls & Auditing:
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and controls.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
  • Proficiency in Philippine taxation laws and financial regulations.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPA qualification is a plus but not required.
