Job Responsibilities
Demand management:
- Rolling 18-month sales forecast planning with internal and external customers, and convert to shipment planning and supply planning.
- Sales forecast accuracy control and improvement, focus on M, M-1 and M-2, by SKU by ship to party.
- Sales stability control (lag 2 forecast) within tolerance level, and “blue line” long term forecast collaborative planning with customers and able to control.
- Regular communication with each customer and understand Finished goods market changes.
- Current month order-in-take align with projections.
- Customer relationship management
- Overview demand and supply balancing, supply shortfall and surplus solutions and executions, define supply bottlenecks and provide solutions.
- Packaging supplier performance management, ensure on time delivery (OTD) meeting target.
- Shipping liner/carriers’ performance management, ensure liner/carrier performs as per agreement and corrective plan in place for continuous improvement.
- Develop and foster working relationships with shipping lines.
- Nature rubber (NR) supplier supply stability tracking and performance management, ensure NR supplier supplying on time as per request.
- Proactive planning, i.e., avoid wintering supply shortfall, public holiday impact etc.
- Supplier relationship management
- Driving global Nature rubber S&OP planning process standardization and integrate to Global finished goods S&OP planning process.
- Leading global nature rubber demand planning process for forecast accuracy improvement.
- Standardize and synchronize nature rubber planning process, horizon and monthly schedule.
- Leading/initiate IT system integration to support business process, i.e., MACOS and SAP integration
- Internal GOCPL planning process continuous improvement to synchronize with global S&OP, D&OP processes
- Regularly review supply chain related processes, comply with company’s policy, driving changes
- Develop procedures and protocol to standardize a methodology for all supply chain activity.
- Identify cost reduction and saving within the supply chain network
- Be able to identify demand and supply risk and potential risk.
- Pro-actively find and work out solutions to avoid impact to business both internal GOCPL and Goodyear tire plants as well as external customers.
- Contingency plan always in place for identified risks
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related
- Demonstrated strong experience/capability in successful demand planning, DSI management
- Minimum 5 -7 years’ experience from large MNCs and large scope of job responsibilities
- Excellence verbal and written communication skills
- Excellence contract negotiation, supplier management skills
- Strong leadership and team player, interpersonal communication skills
- Excellence numerical & analytical skills
- Familiar with SAP ECC. SAP BI
- Advanced Microsoft office skills
- Amenable to work in Day Shift and Hybrid set up
