Position Summary

This position is directly responsible and accountable in the rules and procedures around Payroll, Time, Compensation & Benefits and/or Employee Data Management & Reporting.

The HRS Specialist is expected to be an independent employee with a dedicated heart in participating in and implementing either on EDM, Reports & Analytics, Payroll & Time, or Compensation and Benefits schemes.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Employee Data Management & Reporting:

  • Performs employee data management transactions such as employee enrollment, and employee movements in HR ZONE.
  • Assists Talent Acquisition – On Boarding Team in the Pre-Employment Requirements Process.
  • Maintains employee Masterfile, employee listing, and ensuring up to date employee records by conducting a daily audit & data reconciliation.
  • Performs reports & analytics duties with high level of analytical skills in data analysis and reports generation.
  • Performs employment verification.
  • Prepares certificate of employment for both active and termed employees.
  • Will assume all responsibilities mirrored to HRS Officer for HR Operations in his/her absence.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Administers benefit programs based on approved policies and processes.
  • Handles the preparation of data & compensation-related documents such as Certificate of Contribution, Maternity/Sickness Computation, Maternity/Sickness Reimbursement, etc.
  • Will assume all responsibilities mirrored by HRS Officer for Compensation & Benefits in his/her absence.

Others

  • Ensures resolution of customer requests, queries and complaints to provide a high level of customer service necessary to support the achievement of defined team and company goals.
  • Responsible for resetting passwords and addressing concerns regarding various HRS tools.
  • Performs other related functions as required by the employer.

Required Experience, Skills & Education

  • Strong time management, self-management and negotiation skills
  • Strong HR background on Compensation and Benefits.
  • With excellent MS Office skills (i.e. MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines
  • Can multi-task and can work independently
