Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm UK with a 30-minute unpaid break
- Process job submissions and orders through your company’s system
- Check with logistics department regarding delivery availability
- Accept orders and enable customers to complete payments
- Manage the inbox, sorting and distributing inquiries to appropriate team members
- Forward large job inquiries to designated salespeople
- Follow up with customers to gather missing information (e.g., delivery dates)
- Build quotes for customers using your website/system
- Answer inbound calls, primarily handling personal customer inquiries
- Respond to basic FAQ-style questions from customers
- Suggest alternatives when specific items are unavailable (e.g., offering a 6-foot table when a 4-foot table is out of stock)
- Amend quotes based on product availability and customer preferences
- Primary focus on administrative sales support rather than direct selling
- Handling both email and phone communications with customers
- Working within established processes while learning to make basic decisions independently over time
- Reporting to and being trained by the Sales Manager
- Excellent written English skills for email communication
- Good phone communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to learn and use company systems and software
- Detail-oriented with ability to gather complete information from customers
