To strengthen our digital presence, we are seeking a strategic Social Media Manager to lead our social media efforts and support select portfolio companies.
Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Social Media Manager to develop and execute social media strategies for our venture capital firm, events company, and advisory firm. Additionally, you will provide support for select portfolio companies when needed. This role focuses on crafting impactful social media strategies, optimizing engagement, and analyzing performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media strategy and a deep understanding of the venture capital and startup ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to enhance our firm's brand, events, and advisory work. Align strategies with overall business goals and audience engagement targets.
- Social Media Growth: Optimize and grow our social media presence across X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and engagement. Engage with our community, respond to mentions, and interact with key industry figures.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and portfolio companies to ensure alignment between social media strategies and broader marketing and communication efforts.
- Content Creation: Assist in creating and scheduling content that showcases our events, investments, industry insights, and leadership team.
- Industry Trends: Stay up to date with trends in crypto, VC, and startups to ensure our content remains relevant and engaging.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience managing social media for a VC firm, startup, or crypto-related business.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), along with their analytics tools and best practices.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools to track and improve performance.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with a strategic approach to brand building.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- If based outside North America, strong English skills are required.
