Your Responsibilities
- Training Program Development: Design, implement, and continually improve comprehensive sales training programs that equip the sales team with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the food and beverage sector.
- Onboarding & Orientation: Develop and deliver effective onboarding programs for new hires to ensure they understand the company's products, sales processes, and customer service standards.
- Sales Skill Enhancement: Focus on developing key sales skills such as product knowledge, negotiation, customer relationship management, and closing techniques. Ensure that the training is tailored to the food and beverage industry, keeping up with trends and industry-specific challenges.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of the sales team to identify areas for improvement. Use this data to fine-tune training materials and sessions to address specific gaps or challenges.
- Trainer Support & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach in-house trainers and sales team members. Ensure that they have the resources and guidance needed to deliver impactful training and coaching.
- Collaboration with Sales Leadership: Work closely with sales managers and directors to align training efforts with business objectives. Gather feedback to ensure that training programs meet the needs of the team and the company.
- Product Knowledge Mastery: Provide in-depth training on product features, benefits, and the food and beverage market to ensure the sales team can confidently sell and represent the brand.
- Training Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Adjust programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement in sales skills.
- Sales Tools and Resources: Ensure that the sales team has access to the most up-to-date sales tools, resources, and materials. This includes developing sales aids, training guides, and e-learning modules.
- Market Trends & Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitive landscape to incorporate relevant insights into training programs, ensuring the team is equipped to adapt to changing market dynamics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Experience: 8 years in FMCG sales
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
- Experience with training tools, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms.
- Knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including products, customer preferences, and market trends.
